Who am I?

On Saturday I went out to the Highland Games in Laurinburg, NC. Learned about the Scottish heritage, ate a meat pie, watched the athletes, played with weapons, and listened to the pipe and drum bands.

The music was the most fascinating feature of this event. Pipes, drums, fiddles; all were played in different styles from old to new. There was even a rock 'n roll band with pipes playing!

My favorite part was at the closing ceremony where all the pipe and drum bands got together for one mass ensemble for Amazing Grace. What a chilling and exciting moment.




Still working on pictures from the event. Currently working on engagement photos/video for my friend's wedding this weekend.
