I am: stuck

The last photoshoots I've done lately have been enjoyable and have been a lot of fun. I love seeing new things and meeting new people everywhere I go. These photoshoots allow me to do that.

After every shoot that I do I take time to go through the photos and ask myself, is this a good shot? Did I capture the moment the way my client wants me to? Being a new established work-for-hire photographer, this has changed my mind set on how my photos should turn out. Sure, people say I have a good eye, but I tend to doubt myself at times. That's where my group of photographers come in. If I have a question about something they are willing to help out to correct and bring up suggestions in a constructive manner. It's always to have another pair of eyes to see another's perspective.

Now that I've gotten several shoots down in the last couple of months, I've been thinking about whether or not I can pursue this hobby into a career, or as the phrase goes, go pro. Recently I've developed a photoblog on Tumblr, a Facebook Fan page and had my logo developed to be my watermark, my symbol, to be me. There is a lot of work that needs to be done when going this type of business, plus my number one job as an Army Nurse Corps Officer in the United States Army. There is just a lot of questions right now on what path I should take. There are many roads that are open to me; I just don't know which one to go on.

A couple verses that come to mind are:
Proverbs 3:5-6 "Trust in the LORD with all your heartand lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him,and he will make your paths straight."

Proverbs 4:11-12 "I have directed you in the way of wisdom; I have led you in upright paths."

Lord, show me which way to go.
