Who am I?

The other day I attended one of the youth's spring music concert (band/orchestra/choir). It brought me back to my days in high school when I used to be in band and choir.

I remember my first marching band parade. I remember band camp. I remember the football games which caused my ears to ring by the end of the night.

I remember the nervousness of meeting my choir director (he was 6' 9" I was a mere 5'). I remember my first choral festival and stepping on the stage. I remember the feeling I had after the last note during our competition in the Royal Academy of Music in London, England. I remember the NUMEROUS singing fundraisers our choir group went on during the Christmas season (40+ performances in 20 days).

Seeing those kids on stage brought me back to my high school days. The friendships, the bonds, the crazy times with the people brought together to share in the passion of music; those were the days. It also reminded me of how great Glee will be this coming fall on FOX. The first episode had an awesome ending sequence.
