Happy 2010! I know I'm 11 days late, but a lot has happened the last 11 days. The most horrible thing that's happened is I've gotten sick. The PA said it's viral, but if it doesn't go away in a couple of days it's probably bacterial and I'll need antibiotics.
It's day 5 and I'm still coughing... It's mostly likely bacterial. Great. The problem I'm having is that none of the meds prescribed to me help me stop coughing at night when I'm sleeping. Coughing at night prevents me from getting adequate REM sleep. I feel myself waking up in the middle of the night just to cough. It's getting real annoying. I feel like I was in a daze the last couple of days and not very productive because I didn't have the energy to do anything at all.
I hope I can get something to help me sleep this week. It's going to be a long week at work...
Since it's 2010 and I want to start something new, let's start with a list of 10 things I want to do this year:
- Mission trip to Philippines
- Deploy overseas
- Obtain financial peace
- Read God's word more
- Explore my creativity with photography
- Visit TONS of new places
- Take LOTS and LOTS of photo of cool things I see
- Save up for a piano for my apartment
- Be more involved in church
- Bring someone to Christ
It's a hefty list, but I hope to accomplish it this year!
