I am: risking my love

To love at all is to be vulnerable. Love anything, and your heart will certainly
be wrung and possibly be broken. If you want to make sure of keeping it intact,
you must give your heart to no one, not even to an animal. Wrap it carefully
around your hobbies and little luxuries; avoid all entanglements; lock it up
safe in the casket or coffin of your selfishness. But in that casket — safe,
dark, motionless, airless — it will change. It will not be broken; it will
become unbreakable, impenetrable, irredeemable. The alternative to tragedy, or
at least to the risk of tragedy, is damnation. The only place outside Heaven
where you can be perfectly safe from all the dangers and perturbations of love
is Hell. (The Four Loves, chapter 6) - C.S. Lewis
I am not perfect. I am flawed because I am human and sinful by nature. You will find that there are things about me that may disgust you. I apologize, I understand my faults and past sins. I have accepted them and am living on through the lessons from those experiences. There is no point in living with regret.
I want to love you; no if or buts, no strings attached - just in all certainty love you. I want to give you my heart in hopes that you will accept it in its current exposed and vulnerable state. In doing so I know I am taking a risk: a risk of rejection, a risk of disappointment, a risk of being broken from this act. I understand these risks and am willing to accept the consequences that may occur.
So I offer my self, my life, my entity to you. I am wide open to you. It is yours if you are willing to take it. My love, my passion, my all can be yours with a single word. What will it be?
